Live Arts Global is a company formed by three female artists looking for a way to help performing arts around the world. Christine Shevchenko, a principal dancer with American Ballet Theatre, is looking forward to a return to performing. Melanie Hamrick is a choreographer and former dancer with American Ballet Theatre. Joanna DeFelice is a choreographer, former ballerina, and contemporary artist. Together these women are creating a new platform to view dance at no cost. The goal is to bring classical ballet to our beloved audiences while bringing in new fans.

Mission

Dancers, stage crew, and countless individuals involved in live theatre need immediate financial support. Audiences, meanwhile, yearn for an opportunity to see performers dance.

A NIGHT AT THE BALLET seeks to address both these needs. A 60-minute streamed performance, A NIGHT AT THE BALLET features dancers of American Ballet Theatre, New York City Ballet, Alvin Ailey, and San Francisco Ballet performing excerpts from Don Quixote, The Nutcracker and more.

All proceeds will go directly towards the artists performing and producing this show, and any additional funds will be distributed to struggling dance companies across the United States.

Performing arts unites, inspires, and empowers. Please donate so it can continue to do so when it is needed most.
